The Ghost Next Door

Every morning, Art the ghost jumps out from his bed in the attic and starts the day with a song. He sings hello to his deceased family’s portrait! Hello to the cursed doll in the cupboard! And yes, even hello to the suspicious looking ooze sliming down the walls! Unfortunately, he’s unaware his morning routine has given his house the reputation of being the most haunted in the county. Delivery drivers run screaming, families cross the street, and even the local dogs know to avoid it because of the ghoulish goings on inside. Art just wants to make a new friend, but will his love of music (aaand the small fact he’s a ghost…) get in the way?

The Ghost Next Door is a 3D animated short written and directed by Grace Loughrey, and produced by TAUNT. The film is supported by Northern Ireland Screen in partnership with BFI Network as part of their Creative Animation Fund. The Ghost Next Door will be released in 2025.
